In Onco-Ballet we don't focus on perfect ballet technique, but teach you true ballet movements to help you find joy through dance. Onco-Ballet is about using movement and creative expression to help you tune into your body through modified ballet steps. This class is tailored specifically for anyone who has faced cancer to help you learn ballet movement and get your body moving. Join us for an 8-week session to learn the ballet basics and see for yourself what Onco-Ballet is all about. This class is for Hoag Cancer patients, 18 and older only. Hoag cancer patients must be under care of a Hoag Oncologist in active treatment, starting treatment soon or have finished treatment within the past 5 years.*No Class on Monday, October 20th*

This peer support group is meant as a follow-up to 'Navigating What's NEXTT After Cancer Treatment - Part 1' - Please join us for a peer support group as we navigate survivorship and beyond. ** Attendance to NEXTT part 1 required.You MUST have attended Navigating What's Nextt - Part 1 to attend. This class is only for Hoag cancer patients who have been diagnosed within the past two years and have finished or are nearing the end of treatment at Hoag. It is only open to Hoag Cancer Patients as a way to further their care at Hoag. Ages 18 years old and older.
Every other month on the 1st Monday of the month through November 4, 2025

The Gynecologic Cancer Support Group is open to people living with gynecologic cancer. Facilitated by our oncology nurse navigator and oncology social worker. The group will provide an open and supportive space to share experiences, questions, and concerns. Topics will include coping, relationships, treatment plans, dietary needs and navigating the healthcare system. The support group will be conducted via zoom, instructions to join will be emailed to you the day of the event. For questions, call 949-722-6237. Open to the community, this virtual group is for California residents only. You must have camera access in order to attend.
Monthly on the 1st Monday of the month

Breath and movement based gentle yoga practice to find ease, calm, inner nourishment, and strength. The class will build balance, resilience, and strength at both the physical and mental levels. Coming together to practice helps us renew and restore health as a community cultivating social support. We will learn the foundations of yoga postures, movements, breath, and meditation. No previous yoga experience is necessary.This class is led by licensed clinical social worker, long-time oncology social worker, and experienced yoga teacher, Nandini Naranyan, LCSW, E-RYT500, C-IAYT.

Chemotherapy can be scary but learning more about it can help ease anxiety. Please virtually join our oncology nurse navigator to explore the ins and outs of chemotherapy and how it works through your body. You will have the opportunity to learn about what chemotherapy is, what to expect during treatment, and tips for managing side effects. The Lymphedema Workshop is a monthly educational workshop facilitated by our lymphedema specialist. Covers risks, healthy habits and prevention. Topics change monthly.
